Kane is the Founder and Artistic Director of The PappyShow and a lecturer at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. His work is all about community and bringing people together to move, share their practice and play. He is a facilitator, director, performer and maker specialising in movement, dance, ensemble and physical theatre. His work and research look into diversity, inclusion and difference and finding spaces where many identities thrive. His work is often site-specific and seen on stages, screen and in digital spaces. Kane is an associate of the National Youth Theatre, Squint Theatre and The North Wall (Oxford). He choreographed the Welcoming Ceremonies of the London Olympics, Paralympics, and the Glasgow Commonwealth Team.  

He  has worked across theatre spaces from  National Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse, Sheffield Crucible Theatre, the Old Vic, the Midlands Arts Centre (Birmingham), the SCOOP Outdoor Theatre, Rose Bruford College (London), the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London), University of West London, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (Cardiff), the National Youth Theatre, the King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture (Saudi Arabia), the National Theatre of Scotland, the Kiln Theatre (London) and Fran Wen, among other companies and venues.


For the company, Kane has Directed BOYS, Boy Fly, GIRLS (2018), CARE, SHINE BLACK, OUR HOUSE and continues to lead and curate The PappyShow’s works and training in collaboration with the full core team. 

SAM HARDIE

Sam is a theatre maker and director from Fife, Scotland. She trained as an actor on the Acting: Collaborative and Devised Theatre Course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Sam is an Associate Artist at National Youth Theatre and has devised, directed and facilitated work with theatre companies like The National Theatre Studio, ENO, Jackson’s Lane and various education institutions across the UK. She  was recently awarded the Nicole Kidman bursary from MGC Futures charity. 


Sam has worked with The PappyShow for over 5 years, co-running the company, performing in GIRLS and running workshops and programmes for the company around the UK.


Rachel-leah hosker

Rachel is an actor, movement director and a founding member of The PappyShow. Rachel trained at Central School of Speech and Drama and is an associate of National Youth Theatre.

Rachel has worked with the BBC, New Diorama Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, The Orange Tree, Rose Bruford, LAMDA, Wimbledon Arts School, VAULT Festival, National Theatre Studio, Bush Theatre and the Unicorn Theatre, among other companies and venues.

Rachel is a core member of the PappyShow team. She performs in GIRLS, hosts our podcast It's A Practice!, was a Movement Director on CARE and facilitates workshops for The PappyShow.

Rachel is Northern and loves vegan sweets, reality tv and fitness.

kamran vahabi

Kamran is an actor and writer of Middle Eastern heritage. After studying History at Royal Holloway, he worked in the City before becoming a full time freelance artist. He has worked with the National Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith and Royal Court. Currently, Kamran works full time in Advertising. 

For the company Kamran has performed in BOYS and heads up the company’s Marketing team.


SeDA yildiz

Seda weaves together her enthusiasm for creating inclusive and playful spaces that encourage connection to both the self and each other.

Seda works as a theatre-maker, creative facilitator, actor, casting associate and lecturer, as well as a yoga, meditation and breathwork teacher.

She can be found designing and delivering BA and MA modules for universities, delivering workshops and courses for organisations, on a colourful yoga mat or performing on stage with The PappyShow.

Seda has worked with: Goldsmiths University, University of East London, St Mary’s University, University West London, Hull University, Haringey Shed, Theatre Train, Monobox, Campaign Bootcamp, WeWork, YachtWeek, Almeida Theatre, National Youth Theatre, Kneehigh Theatre, Open Clasp, Goethe Institute Germany, National Theatre Studio, The Royal Court, Soho Theatre, The Barbican, Live Theatre, Oval House, Bush Theatre, Lyric, The Lowry, BBC, Channel 4, Film 4, Icon Films, Pulse Films, Sony Music, BBC Radio 4 and the Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony.

Seda is a core member of The PappyShow team having performed in GIRLS, CARE and frequently facilitates workshops for the company.

kwami odoom

Kwami is an actor and theatre-maker from North London. He trained as an actor with the National Youth Theatre REP Company and has worked internationally as both an actor and movement director. He is an associate artist of the National Youth Theatre and Company Three.


Kwami is a founding member of The PappyShow and has performed in BOYS and CARE. He runs workshops for the company around the UK.


Bea holland

Bea is a theatre-maker, performer and writer.  She studied English and Drama at The University of Hull and is an associate of National Youth Theatre. She has worked at theatres across the country including: Barbican, Unicorn Theatre, Orange Tree, National Theatre, Lowry, Battersea Arts Centre and Almeida. Her work spans from stand-up comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe to Greek Tragedy on The Southbank and from puppeteering a mouse circus at Glastonbury to writing comedy for E4. 


Bea is a core member of The PappyShow team. She has performed in GIRLS, was an associate director on BOYS and facilitates workshops for The PappyShow.


She can often be found elbow deep in cut flowers moonlighting as a florist with her scruffy assistant Parsley the dog.


Marc Benga

Entering this world via way of Cameroon, West Africa - Marc is a creative with a background in writing, acting and movement. He trained as part of the National Youth Theatre Rep Company and is also a practitioner for Frantic Assembly.

Marc was part of the original BOYS cast. Since then he has gone on to work on several different PappyShow projects.

If he isn’t advocating for true inclusivity in all aspects of life, or constantly championing marginalised voices through his work, then he’s probably trying to engage you in a juicy conversation about Drag Race! Three topics of which he has a unique passion for.
