Kane Husbands

Artistic Director

Kane is the Artistic Director of The PappyShow, specialising in movement, physical theatre and training. An associate of the National Youth Theatre, Squint Theatre and The North Wall (Oxford). He choreographed the Welcoming Ceremonies of the London Olympics and Paralympic, and the Glasgow Commonwealth Team.

He has also worked with the National Theatre, the Old Vic, New Voices, the Midlands Arts Centre (Birmingham), the Crucible Theatre (Sheffield), SCOOP Outdoor Theatre, Rose Bruford College (London), the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London), the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (Cardiff), the National Youth Theatre, the King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture (Saudi Arabia), the National Theatre of Scotland and the Kiln Theatre (London), among other companies and venues.

 
 

 
 

Sam is an actor, theatre-maker and facilitator.  She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the Acting: Collaborative and Devised Theatre course. 

Sam has collaborated and made work across the UK with theatre companies such as the National Youth Theatre, ENO Baylis, Clean Break, National Theatre and National Theatre of Scotland.   

For the company she is performing in GIRLS and assistant director on CARE, as well as facilitating various workshops on behalf of the company.

Sam Hardie

Kwami Odoom

Kwami is an actor, director and founding member of The PappyShow. He studied Philosophy and Hispanic Studies at the University of Sheffield before training with the 2016 NYT REP company. Kwami is also a cheerleader, competing twice at the World Cheerleading Championships.

For the company Kwami has performed in BOYS as well as assisting on the initial development of GIRLS and facilitating workshops for The PappyShow.

 
 

 
 

Rachel is an actor, movement director and personal trainer and is a founding member of The PappyShow back in 2012. Rachel trained at Central School of Speech and Drama and spent lots of summers with NYT. In the core Pappy Team Rach looks after our Marketing and Social Media.

Rachel performs in GIRLS, was an Associate Movement Director on CARE at NYT and facilitates workshops on behalf of the company.

Eddie-Joe Robinson


Eddie is an actor and maths graduate who has been a core member of The PappyShow team for a number of years. After graduating from UCL he trained with the NYT REP company in 2017 as an actor and then became more involved with the day to day running of The PappyShow. He looks after the finances of the company, as well the creation and maintenance of the website. 

For the company he has assistant directed on BOYS, and has also performed in CARE, as well as facilitating various workshops on behalf of the company.

 
 

 
 

Helena is a Designer, Costume Supervisor and Wardrobe Manager for stage and screen. Since graduating in Performance Design from Central Saint Martin’s, she has worked for a variety of companies, including Secret Cinema, ITV, Rambert, British Vogue, London Sinfonietta Orchestra and The BBC. She has worked extensively with the National Youth Theatre, most recently as Head Of Costume across their annual programme of theatre and performance.

Helena is now a core member of The PappyShow team having designed Boys, Girls and Care.
